Jack Genetti
Jack Genetti (GHS Class of 1941) was a four-year member of the basketball and football teams. The basketball teams of those four years had a record of 74-35 and won the county tournament in 1940 and 1941. After high school, Jack went on to a very successful college career at St. Louis University. While at SLU, Jack played four years of football and basketball. He was the SLU Football co-captain as well. He is a member of both the Football and Basketball Hall of Fames at SLU. Jack would later volunteer as a grade school coach for basketball, baseball, and softball teams.
